This Privacy Policy explains how Kueue ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use Kueue (the "Service").
1. Information we collect
- Account information — the email address and password you use to sign up (passwords are handled securely by our authentication provider and never stored by us in plain text).
- Event information — the event details, schedule, venue, images, and other content you create.
- Payment information — processed by Razorpay. We receive confirmation of payment and a transaction reference, but we do not collect or store your card or bank details.
- Guest usage — when a guest opens an event link, we store an anonymous, randomly generated device identifier (in the browser's local storage) to count unique devices. This is not linked to a guest's name, email, or any personal identity.
- Technical data — basic logs such as access times needed to operate and secure the Service.
2. How we use information
- to provide and operate the Service (host dashboard, live guest view);
- to process payments and unlock paid events;
- to show hosts an approximate guest count;
- to maintain security and improve reliability.
3. Service providers
We rely on trusted third parties to run the Service:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and realtime infrastructure.
- Razorpay — payment processing.
- Vercel — application hosting.
These providers process data only as needed to deliver their services and under their own privacy and security commitments.
4. Cookies & local storage
We use essential cookies/local storage to keep you signed in (for hosts) and to store the anonymous guest device identifier described above. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
5. Data retention
We retain account and event data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
6. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing us at kueue.support@gmail.com.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
